Limpopo’s only representatives from the lower divisions in the 2026 Nedbank Cup, Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM), have been handed a daunting assignment in the Last 32 after being drawn against Betway Premiership log leaders Orlando Pirates.
The Limpopo outfit will host the rejuvenated Sea Robbers, with the venue and match date still to be confirmed. It remains to be seen whether TTM can spring a major upset against the red-hot Soweto giants, who are currently enjoying an impressive run of form at the top of the Betway Premiership standings.
Meanwhile, Limpopo’s other lower-division sides — Baroka FC, Black Leopards and Venda Academy — who are campaigning in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, failed to qualify for the 2026 edition of the competition.
Despite this, the province will still be well represented in the Nedbank Cup by three elite-division clubs: Magesi FC, Polokwane City and Sekhukhune United, all of whom will be competing in the Last 32.
