Ekurhuleni Healthcare professional, Tintswalo Ngobeni-Mahlangu seeks support for Mrs South Africa journey

EKURHULENI – A dedicated healthcare professional, mother, and advocate for literacy and skills development is appealing for community support as she prepares to represent her community as a Semi-Finalist in the prestigious Mrs South Africa 2026 pageant.

Tintswalo Ngobeni-Mahlangu, who is based in Ekurhuleni, has built a career in the healthcare sector where she is committed to serving patients with compassion and excellence. Beyond her professional responsibilities, she is passionate about empowering others through education and skills development, a cause that is deeply personal to her.

Ngobeni-Mahlangu’s journey to the Mrs South Africa stage has been shaped by resilience and determination. As a child, she faced significant learning challenges and repeated several grades due to difficulties with reading, writing, and understanding English. These struggles exposed her to bullying and self-doubt, but instead of allowing them to define her, she used them as motivation to overcome adversity.

“My experiences inspired me to become an advocate for literacy and skills development. I want others who face similar challenges to know that their circumstances do not determine their future,” she said.

Being selected as a Mrs South Africa Semi-Finalist presents an opportunity for Ngobeni-Mahlangu to share her story on a larger platform and inspire people from all walks of life to believe in themselves and pursue their dreams despite obstacles.

She hopes to use her participation in the pageant to raise awareness about the importance of literacy, education, and personal development, while also representing women and communities that have overcome adversity.

As preparations intensify ahead of the Semi-Finalist Showcase scheduled for 3 July 2026, Ngobeni-Mahlangu is raising funds to cover expenses associated with the competition. These include pageant attire, clothing, travel costs, appearance requirements, and other preparations necessary for the showcase.

“Every contribution, no matter how small, brings me closer to achieving this dream and representing my community with pride and purpose,” she said.

Community members, businesses, and potential sponsors are encouraged to support her journey and help amplify her advocacy for skills development and literacy.

Online contributions can be made through her fundraising campaign, while direct donations can also be made into her designated bank account.

Ngobeni-Mahlangu expressed gratitude to everyone who has already supported her and those who continue to believe in her vision of making a meaningful impact through education advocacy and community empowerment.
